This category and its subcategories tries to keep tab on what needs to be done on the Wildcard wiki.

The mediawiki software we run with has many special pages that in themselves are useful.

Expansion

• Wanted pages and wanted categories are the single most useful of these pages and a good hunting ground for those who seek to expand the wiki.
• Short pages aren't necessarily stubs, but of course that special page is useful in finding them. Conveniently, the short pages list does not include redirects, which would otherwise clutter the start of that list.
• PROJECT: Articles needing ideas need ideas. Check out the category for details.

Structure fixes

• Broken redirects should always get fixed, either by finding the page they were meant to redirect to or creating it.
• Uncategorised pages, excepting the main page, should always be expanded to include a category.
• The category root should always roughly look like the category root template (see sidebar on right) - try to keep uncategorised categories to a minimum.
• Orphaned pages are pages that aren't linked to from anywhere. That's not to say they don't have a category, just that no other article links to them, so it might not be relevant to fix.

Polishing

• Popular pages and most linked-to pages are a good place to look for pages in need of polishing for. Usually the articles that score high here are already fairly good, but due to their 'popularity', an extra polish is rarely a bad thing.
