In her dealings with the Citizens, Verdana is what one would effortlessly classify as the 'coldest' of the Wildcard trio. Nonetheless, she very much shares the core ideology - perhaps moreso, because she deems it pivotal to truly study the humans ensnared in Wildcard rather than delay their suffering by muddying the waters with interference.

Her philosophy in dealing with the Citizens is both frightening and positive at once. She believes in a minimal interference policy, wherein individual Citizens are more than welcome to get themselves killed, but the bulk of the group must be preserved.

Things she opposes:

• socialising with the Citizens
• saving individual lives
• Dread's meddling - willing to sever feedback loops to keep him out without asking the affected Citizen first

Things she does:

• she'll deus-ex-machina the hell out of a sim to save the group
• she generally tends to indulge in the simulation as a participant, though usually well out of reach of the Citizens (as not to tarnish)
• she'll alter simulations to her purposes, e.g. make them last indefinitely, less scared than the other Wildcard AIs of having a chaos effect propagate from the change that tips a balanced world into a 'bad environment'

History

Verdana used to be a redundant server of the Dominion MMORPG. Her vanishing caused a bunch of irritation because of the unfinished alternate worlds she was building (Taranis, Mer) but the MMORPG itself is still running, and the other genAesis seeds in the rack have created other fantasy games for the company.
