Sawdust

Sawdust is a Puppet in Mer.

He is a bit of an oddity amongst the monkeybirds - an albino. To avoid getting sunburnt, he wears two pairs of gloves - one set for his hindpaws, one set for his forepaws. He also keeps his ears covered, mildly impacting his hearing. When not in battle or to wing, Sawdust also wears a robe to cover himself.

The most striking asset of his, however, are his eyes. Like any albino, his eyes are colourless - but there are no conveniently available sunglasses on Mer. Instead, a magic substance covers his eyes, making them appear black and with neither pupil nor iris to an onlooker, giving him an eerie appearance.

What Sawdust does not have in endurance, he has in wit and speed and in his ability to wield most weapons with practised skill. Additionally, he has some knowledge of the magic of illusion, but that can only work on already distracted enemies. In almost any physical fight, Sawdust would lose, and his wings do not let him carry a person.
