Closed Circle is a default-avatared sim hosted on Verdana.

Description

Closed Circle takes after old mystery stories in which one person in a limited group of people is a murderer while the rest have a pressing urge to discover who it is. Attempting to make a similar game for their test subjects, the servers twisted it slightly - instead of a murderer, one person would be replaced with a Puppet, programmed to behave like them, and it was up to the Citizens to discover which of their party it is.

Floor plans

Caveat

Little do the party know, they've actually been split into two groups, each having half their members replaced by Puppets. Realizing this will be the actual solution to the sim.

Puppets have been split up as well, with one half of them in each sim being replaced by a version identical to their original parameters, minus the changes made over time.

NPCs

  • Caldwell Langford, the butler.
  • Ashford "Ash" Squire, who is in charge of the stables.
  • Deacon Hobbson, the footman.
  • Samson Stratford, the gardener
  • Lord Giles, the recluse who owns the mansion, currently away on a hunting trip (but who may return if things seem to be progressing too slowly). He usually comes with his bodyguard, Stevenson.
  • Lady Dana, his wife, who orchestrated the event in his absence, and who is not in residence.

People

Name knowledge

As usual, if anyone bothered to ask Israel, she'd be able to divulge the name, but otherwise, this is just whatever colloquialism du jour is being used for 'that vaguely murder-mystery-ish sim with an existential spin', or whatever.

Node

Mer linked everyone here. Or, well. Less linked, more dumped. Or lopped like a hot potato. On completion, the sim grew a door that hadn't been there before, to the 'tea room', which was the (voluntary) link out to Chimera.
