AI is an acronym standing for artificial intelligence. While movies usually depict this as something challenging or bordering sentience, or even something unachievable, artificial intelligence in programs doesn't take much, as it's a mere simulation of intelligence.

For example, enemies in video games all have artificial intelligence - or artificial stupidity, if you'd rather, depending on the skill of the programmers and intended difficulty of the game.

Artificial sentience is another subject entirely and considered not to be achieved, even in the Wildcard universe, though some argue the a-life may head that way on its own, if it hasn't in some instances done so already.
