Instead of being on-site only, notifications now support eMailing you directly to your inbox. You have to enable this manually, mind you.

Please note that the site has no way of determining whether the eMail address you supply in your settings is correct, so make you you enter a valid one, lest you won't receive the notifications you opt for.
