Willis/Willoughby is unnaturally cheerful. What makes it worse is his malevolence. Sly and manipulative, he uses people. He and Jesse are cordial acquaintances, and Willis is obviously the more dangerous one. |

Though Willis and Jesse know each other, there is no friendship beyond mutual acknowledgment. Willis is the type to form friendships, but as we know already, Jesse isn't. Jesse does, however, respect Willoughby, which is something to note in itself. Willoughby is dead. |
