av. description |
Shahrivrath's dragon form seems fairly generically western, excepting perhaps the amount of digits and the smoothness of his scales. His forepaws each have three claws, of which one fills the role of an opposable thumb; his feet each have two claws, though these are large and almost hoof-like in their sturdyness, though there's a claw-like curve to them. His wings follow the anatomic guide of his forepaws, flight membrane spread out between his side and two vastly elongated fingers, with a third, thumb-like claw at the joint. His snout is narrow, perhaps ever so vaguely equine, with fairly large eyes that, as with humans, have pronounced areas of white, helping to read his emotions. Growing from the back of his skull, almost crest-like, are two fleshy 'horns' that he himself refers to as antennae. Despite the whites of his eyes, these are the primary display of his emotions, curling down in sadness, tensing into a taper when in rage, and curling upwards slightly when in a good mood. It's the colour of his scales that make him most unusual: A royal blue makes up most of his appearance, but that is criss-crossed with labyrinthine patterns of reflective silver. His eyes have a more classic colour: A greenish azure, somewhere between turquoise and teal. His claws mesh the colour of his scales in hinted hue and shimmer together, resulting in a slightly blueish, semi-reflective gray. His tail is about as long as the rest of his body and flexible (unlike, say, a raptorian's). His neck in turn makes up half of the rest of his length, usually held in light curve. His limbs are roughly of equal length (forearms slightly shorter, facilitating bipedal stance), excepting his wings, which are roughly double the length of his forearms. All in all, the bulkiness the truly CLASSIC western dragon variants have seems amiss in Shahrivrath, who seems to be built for speed - lean and lithe - more than for strength. |
attitude |
Shahrivrath is a condescending jerk, though he's too detached from reality to consider himself as doing anything wrong - he's easily flabberghasted by the aggression some people have for him. He considers himself a tutor, though he does acknowledge his methods may occasionally be extreme. What IS most certainly extreme, on the other hand, is his xenophobia - if it can be called a -phobia, as it's more of a formulated ethnic cleansing. Fortunately, non-draconic individuals needn't fear him. |

comments |
Shahrivrath seems to be under the genuine impression that he's doing good in the confines of the universe he lives in, even though he is arguably one of the most wicked results of the political clashes therein. He's so unmistakably certain of the inferiority of the Davir Sria and Davir Kaea that he merely pities them and seeks to convert those that dare accept his offer to the ways of the Hzataalara. He's quite concerned about the rest of his race having left no perceivable notes of their existence in the ruins of Avishraa - but he's certain they must be out there in all their glory. |
