He uses as his avatar Seker, the falcon-headed god strongly linked with Ptah. Having done an update on old texts for the modern era, his head is that of a black-and-white feathered Osprey, and for a cloak he wears one made of shimmering Osprey feathers, while under that he wears no shirt and a loincloth, his skin being as black as the dark feathers and the cloth being as white as the light ones. Of course, for professional meetings he uses his alternate avatar - a representation of his offline self in a business suit |

Josef is an Egyptophile; he works for World Times as a senior programmer working on Newsy, but he spends his weekends hanging out online with other Egyptophiles in an increasingly accurate representation of the Egyptian mythological world (including the underworld and homes of the deities). He's not the kind of fanatic who will bother others at work incessantly, but he does have awesome shiny statues on his desk where others have pictures of the wife and kids. |
