appearance
Plain, brown hair and brown eyes with few distinguishing features about him. Standing at 5'11" he isn't the tallest of people, but he isn't short either. His slim build is due entirely to an amazingly high metabolism, having no real exercise outside walking from place to place.

av. description
Around two and a half inches long, and weighing around one and a half ounces. The Avatar is very small, though fast and capable of flight in all directions without any significant change in speed. Dark green feathering with a fade to black towards the edges of the wings and the shoulders. Very short tail feathers, as they are not needed by the hummingbird as much as larger birds. Downy chest feathers are a light brown coloration, not light enough to contrast the dark green of its flight feathers though.
attitude
Chris tends to like to be helpful, though he can't do much most of the time. Being friendly with most everyone, he tends to mock people bigger than himself too often for his own good... well if they start it anyway.

Christopher Leordric grew up in a middle class home with his widowed mother. Having lost his father at a very young age never seemed to really bother him, though the way his mother took his death did. Being an only child, he was left to comfort his distressed mother through his childhood; though to see him no one could guess it. He dealt with his responsibility well, getting good marks in school while taking classes in self defense to make up for his relatively small size when he was young. He stopped taking self defense classes while still young, switching through multiple interests over the years; including biology, programming, biotechnology, engineering, cooking, architecture, writing, gaming, marksmanship, and finance. While he took a great many interests, he never really stuck with anything... switching to something new only a short while after settling into one; the most recent interest being biology, more specifically genetics and genetic engineering.

Outside of schooling, he lived a rather solitary life... having moved to an apartment at the age of seventeen, paying with the money he received from a full time accounting job. The only real friend he had was Jeremy, whose family had known his own since before his father passed away. Jeremy's mother felt sorry for Chris, making him breakfast each morning since he moved away from his mother for school; his mother having to move back in with his grandmother due to losing her job as a nurse. Jeremy himself took interests that were quite opposed to Chris's own, with the exception of the current interest in genetic engineering. Jeremy was an athlete, having had interests as varied as Chris's own... only in sports. The one thing that brought him to genetic engineering was the thought of improving sports even more so than they already were... though Chris simply found it interesting.

While their interests differed, Jeremy and Chris were nearly inseparable when it came to life outside of work. Each morning they would meet at Jeremy's place for breakfast and head to classes together. After classes they would head to the business compound together before splitting up and heading to work. After work, they would meet back up and head to Jeremy's for a while to play games before Chris had to head to his own place.

While Jeremy knew Chris was gay, he never actually knew how Chris felt about him. This could sometimes get Chris down, but he was over it before anything could happen. This said, Chris has never had much experience with relationships... having never met anyone he much cared for outside Jeremy. This fact never bothers him, because he thinks of it as normal for a guy his age, with his preferences.

Sadly enough, it now seems he may never make it back to tell Jeremy exactly how he feels...
